Generally, this type of indicator light uses a light bulb, so it requires a reflective frame or mounting frame to accommodate the light bulb, and it is embedded in the vehicle body by the length of the light bulb and the depth of the reflective frame. It has to be shaped like this. Therefore, for this type of indicator light, not only must a hole be drilled in the vehicle body and the indicator light must be shaped to fit within the hole, but also because the indicator light itself uses a light bulb. However, this requires a structure that allows the light bulb to be replaced in the event of a wire breakage, which imposes restrictions on the structure of the light fixture itself and its mounting location, resulting in poor versatility.

The present invention was developed in view of these circumstances, and its purpose is to eliminate the need to replace the light source, create an extremely thin structure, and eliminate the need for large holes in the body of the mounting area.
The purpose is to provide a vehicle indicator light that can be easily installed anywhere.

The present invention will be explained in more detail below with reference to the illustrated embodiments. Reference numeral 1 is a printed circuit board based on a metal such as aluminum. A surface 3 is divided, a large number of light emitting diodes 4 are placed in the form of chips on the surface of the printed board, and after wire bonding, coating with epoxy resin is applied and fixed. Lead wires 5 for supplying power to these light emitting diodes are inserted from the back side through insertion holes 6 provided through the printed circuit board 1, and the ends 5a of each lead wire are welded onto the surface of the printed circuit board. .

The current limiting resistor, protection diode, etc. required to light up the light emitting diode mounted on the printed circuit board are made of melt parts such as the melt type chip resistor 4a, just like the light emitting diode. Can be installed in a space that is not available. Furthermore, melt parts using other chips can be installed in the vacant space, or flashing circuits and sensors can be installed on the printed board surface in the same way, thereby significantly limiting the height and making it thinner. It can be done. Note that reference numeral 7 in the figure represents a pair of through holes for attachment.

The lens cover 8 placed on the printed circuit board configured in this way is almost the same as those used in lighting equipment such as ordinary parking lamps, and has a rectangular dish shape as a whole, and has an inner surface. A lens cut portion 9 is provided at the bottom (in the figure) to diffuse the light from the light emitting diode chip 4. This lens cover is also provided with a pair of mounting holes 10 corresponding to the through holes 7. The lower end 11 of the lens cover 8 is adapted to fit into the groove 2 of the printed circuit board 1.

When the vehicle lamp of the present invention having the above configuration is used as a side marker lamp, for example, mounting holes 13 and 14 are provided on the side surface of the vehicle 12, and a lead wire insertion hole 15 is provided, and a lead is inserted into the lead wire insertion hole. After inserting the wire 5, the printed circuit board 1 and the lens cover 8 are overlapped, and the mounting screw 1 such as a screw is inserted.
6 and 17 through the mounting hole 10 and the through hole 7,
It can be easily mounted anywhere by screwing it into the mounting holes 13 and 14 of the vehicle. The printed circuit board 1 and the lens cover 8 are coupled to each other by fitting the lower end 11 into the groove 2 and tightening the mounting screws 16 and 17. Furthermore, the lamp according to the present invention can be used not only as a side marker lamp but also as a tail lamp, a stop lamp, or a turn signal lamp.

As explained above, since the vehicle indicator light according to the present invention has a light emitting diode attached directly to a printed circuit board of a metal plate, the light itself can be formed extremely thin, and a large hole can be drilled at the mounting location on the vehicle body. Alternatively, there is no need for troublesome processing such as recessing the size of the light fixture, and it can be easily installed anywhere, providing excellent versatility, and the heat generated by lighting the light emitting diode is directly transmitted through the metal printed circuit board. It is transmitted to the car body, has an extremely good heat dissipation effect, and is less likely to be damaged by heat. In addition, since a printed circuit board made of metal is used, there is no need for extra vehicle body mounting frames, reflective frames, etc., and the number of parts is reduced.
Can be provided at low cost. In particular, since a light emitting diode is used as the light source, it has an extremely long lifespan, and the structure itself does not require considerations such as replacing light bulbs, resulting in an excellent effect of being able to simplify the structure.
