However, in such lighting equipment, each light emitting diode constitutes a point light source and has a directional light output, so the part of the front lens that corresponds to the light emitting diode is illuminated brighter than the part that does not correspond to the light emitting diode. However, there were problems with uniform illumination.

The back cover 2 is formed of a plastic material into a plate shape that is long in the left and right direction and is attached to the vehicle body, and is integrally provided with two bent portions extending over the vehicle body at the side ends of the vehicle body. The front lens 3 is formed of a translucent plastic material such as acrylic resin into a shallow box shape that opens to the rear side, and its periphery is secured by a set screw, gasket, adhesive, etc. (not shown). A vent hole 8 is formed between the front lens 30 and the back cover 2 at a part of the edge of the front lens 30. Similar to the curved part 2A, a bent part 3A is integrally provided over the side of the vehicle body, thereby forming a rotating lens. The front lens 3 has its surface colored in the vehicle body color. By being masked with a light-shielding film 9 of the same color, it has a large number of horizontally long light transmitting parts 10 provided at predetermined intervals in the vertical and horizontal directions, and the other parts are masked. The insulator 5 is made of a transparent plastic sheet, and a large number of red light-emitting diodes 6 are arranged on the surface of the insulator 5, and a large number of convex lenses 11 are densely formed on the inner surface. Part 10
The transparent electrode 13 corresponds to one or several times.
A large number of conductive foils 14 are provided as power supply paths through which each light emitting diode 6 is energized. The conductive foil 14 is located between each row of the 6 groups of light emitting diodes and extends long in the vertical direction of the taillight 1. The light emitting diodes 6 are connected in series by gold wires 15 to a conductive foil 14 located on one side of each column, for example, on the left side in FIG.

The heat dissipation plate 7 has the function of dissipating the heat generated by the light emitting diode 60 and the function of reflecting the backward light emitted from the light emitting diode 6 to the front. The reflective surface is formed by forming an abbreviated shape on a metal plate, and the surface is mirror-finished, a reflective film is formed by painting or vapor deposition, or aluminum foil is fixed by hot stamping etc. are doing. The end of the heat dissipating plate T is fixed to the inner surface of the end of the front lens 3, thereby securing an appropriate gap between it and the inner surface of the back cover 2 to communicate with the ventilation hole 8. The insulator 5 is closely fixed to the surface forming the reflective surface (however, in the figure, it is spaced apart as appropriate).

In the taillight having such a configuration, when the light emitting diodes 6 are made to emit light all at once, red light is emitted and is emitted to the outside through the light transmitting portion 10 of the front lens 3, illuminating the lens 3 in red. Also, when braking, the circuit resistance changes (by switching the light switch), so the light emitting diode 6
They all have the same brightness and emit brighter light than when they are normally emitted, calling attention to the following vehicles. Here, if we focus on one light emitting diode 6, a portion of its light will be directed forward. The light passes through the front lens 3 and is emitted to the outside from the light transmitting section 10. In this case, when the light &@, &2 enters the front lens 3, it is refracted by the convex lens 11 and diffused. On the other hand, a portion of the backward light 11fi passes through the insulator 5 or the transparent electrode 13 and the insulator 5, is reflected on the surface of the heat sink 7, and then a portion of the light 11fi passes through the insulator 5 or the transparent electrode 13 and the insulator 5, and is reflected by the surface of the heat sink 7. Similarly, the light passes through the front lens 3 and exits from the light transmission section 10 to the outside. This emitted light a3 is also diffused. Therefore, the reflected light from the light emitting diode 6 is effectively used for illuminating the front lens 3, resulting in less loss and being diffused. Regardless of the light transmitting part 10
illuminates the entire surface with almost uniform brightness.

In addition, since the heat sink 7 radiates the heat of the light emitting diode 6 transmitted through the insulator 5, the tail light 1 is provided with a superior heat radiation effect compared to one in which the light emitting diode is simply mounted on a printed circuit board.

As explained above, in the vehicle lamp according to the present invention, a power supply path for energization is provided on a transparent insulator on which a light emitting diode is disposed, and a reflective surface is formed on the back surface of this insulator. As it is configured with a heat sink, it has excellent heat dissipation effect.
Moreover, since the light reflected from the reflective surface of the heat sink is effectively used, the front lens can be illuminated brighter and almost uniformly over the entire surface.
