Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a rubber blend excellent in oil resistance, ozone resistance, low-temperature resistance and flex resistance, by mixing a specified copolymer rubber with an acrylic rubber. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. mixture of 90-30wt.% copolymer rubber obtained by copolymerizing 10-60mol.% epichlorohydrin with 30-90mol.% propylene oxide or propylene oxide/ethylene oxide mixture (molar ratio >=1) and 0-15mol.% unsaturated epoxide (e.g., allyl glycidyl ether) with 10-70wt.% acrylic rubber (e.g., ethylene/acrylic rubber) is mixed with 0.1-10pts.wt. vulcanizing agent (e.g., 2,5-dimercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole).
