Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve structure proof stress and rigidity of a pedestal by arranging a plurality of horizontal steel plates along the vertical direction of the pedestal. CONSTITUTION:A nuclear power pressure vessel 23 is supported by a pedestal 25. Concrete 36 is filled into a pedestal steel plate 35 composed of a cylindrical inner cylinder steel plate 27, an outer cylinder steel plate 31, a radial steel plate 31 and a horizontal steel plate 33 and so a pedestal 25 is made. A plurality of radial steel plates 31 are arranged between the inner cylinder steel plate 27 and the outer steel plate 29. The many pedestal steel plates are piled up at a site as element blocks to be ring-shaped. Therefore, since cracks are interrupted by the horizontal plates even if the cracks are produced in a part of concrete of the pedestal, the proof stress and the rigidity of the pedestal can be improved.
