Abstract

PURPOSE:To reach a deep sleeping depth more rapidly, by performing control so as to reduce stimulation quantity with the elapse of time and reducing said stimulation quantity as a pulse rate is reduced. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus consists of a vibration generator 2 as a stimulation generating mean for imparting vibration to a living body and a control means for controlling the intensity of the generated vibration while the control means consists of a pulse wave sensor 1, a pulse difference detecting part 10, a time detecting part 20 and a stimulation quantity setting part 30. The pulse difference detecting part 10 outputs the difference between the initial value of a pulse rate at the start time of the apparatus and the present value of the pulse rate changing with the elapse of time on the basis of the output of the pulse wave sensor 1. The time detecting part 20 gradually increases the output value with the elapse of time from a start time by a time elapse detecting circuit. The output of the pulse difference detecting part 10 and that of the time detecting part 20 are inputted to the stimulation quantity setting part 30 and the output value of the stimulation quantity setting part 30 becomes gradually small corresponding to the elapse time from the start and is inputted to the vibration generator 2 to regulate stimulation quantity.
