Abstract
PURPOSE:To surely draw out a core and dropping down by relatively moving a machining fluid guide, which forms its external part surface into a flat slope for receiving the core and moves with a wire electrode, to a workpiece after it performs hollowing work. CONSTITUTION:When a workpiece 2 performs its hollowing work, a machining fluid guide 17, which is arranged adjacent to a bottom surface moving with a wire electrode, moves along a machining groove. When the hollowing work is finished, a hollowed core 2a drops down onto a smoothly sloped surface 17b of the machining fluid guide 17 by injection from a core dropping machining fluid injecting nozzle 4, being stopped and received by the guide 17. Under this condition, when the machining fluid guide 17 is moved relatively to the workpiece 2 in such a manner as to separate from the core 2a, it is guided by the smoothly sloped surface 17b, smoothly dropping down to the bottom. Thus enabling the core to be surely drawn out and dropped, obtaining completely unmanned machining.
