Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the electrostatic characteristics of a photosensitive body and to reproduce the copied image faithful to an original picture by using a specific binder resin. CONSTITUTION:The photoconductive layer of the photosensitive body consists of at least a inorg. photoconductor (e.g.: zinc oxide) and the binder resin. A resin formed by bonding -PO3H2, -SO3H, -COOH and/or the group expreseed by the formula to the terminal of a polymer chain is used for the binder resin. In the formula, R denotes a hydrocarbon group. For example, the binder resin can be formed by heating a toluene-mixed soln. of ethyl acrylate, then bringing 4, 4'-azobis (4-cyano valeric acid) into reaction. The CPC photosensitive body which has the excellent electrostatic characteristics and has smaller environmental dependency is thereby obtd. and a lithographic printing master plate which yields the printed matter free from scumming is obtd.
