Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce an amount of NOx as a whole by a method wherein a part of secondary air and third air is positively mixed with mixture just after injection of both air and the remaining air is gradually mixed with the mixture. CONSTITUTION:Mixture injection flow of fine powder coal and primary air 15 is injected from a central part as a direct advancing flow. Secondary air 16 is fed from a secondary air nozzle 12 as a circulating flow so as to cross with an outside part of the mixture injection flow 15, and third air 17 is fed from a third air nozzle 13 as a circulating flow toward an advancing direction from outside spaced apart from the secondary air 16. In this case, each of the amounts of air is controlled to have a relation of a flow rate of third air > a flow rate of secondary air > a flow rate of primary air. 30-50% of the secondary air 16 and the third air 17 is mixed with the mixture 15 just after injection and then the remaining air is gradually mixed with the mixture.
