Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a high efficiency and a low nitrogen oxidation by a method wherein a burner is composed of a fuel nozzle, a polygonal secondary air nozzle and a cylindrical third air nozzle, and the secondary and third airs are injected as a circulating flow. CONSTITUTION:A fine powder coal flow passage 11 is formed of a cylindrical unit, a secondary air passage 12 is formed in a polygonal shape so as to enclose the fine powder coal flow passage 11 and its secondary air injection port is of a polygonal reducer 15, respectively. The third air flow passage 13 is formed of a cylindrical shape so as to enclose the secondary air flow passage 12. A spacer 18 for delaying mixing the secondary air and the third air is arranged between the secondary air flow passage 12 and the third air flow passage 13 so as to elongate the outer pipe of the third air flow passage 13.
