PURPOSE:To obtain a gas purification device applicable to the purification of helium by piling up a prefilter zone, an oil-separater zone and an adsorption zone is series. CONSTITUTION:The main body 10 of helium gas purification device having a gas inlet 11 at the bottom part and a gas outlet 12 at the top part is vertically partitioned by plural perforated plates. A porous inner tube 14 made of sintered material is provided on the prefilter zone between the bottom part of the device and a perforated plate 13a. In the oil-separated zone partitioned with perforated plates 13a and 13b, microfibers 16 are packed. A vacant space is formed between perforated plates 13b and 13c. In the adsorption zone partitioned with perforated plates 13c and 13d, microfiber layers 18 are provided on its upper and lower parts and adsorbent 19 is packed between them.
