Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the destruction of an artificial organ even when sterilizing temp. is raised to heat resistant temp., by detecting the pressure in the artificial organ and adjusting the pressure in said artificial organ by a throttle mechanism so as not to increase the difference between the detected pressure and the pressure in an autoclave. CONSTITUTION:When a sterilized liquid having predetermined temp. is passed through an artificial organ 2 from a sterilized liquid storage tank 6, pressure difference is detected and automatic control valves 12, 13 controlled in an opening degree by an automatic control apparatus 20 are operated so as to adjust said pressure difference to below 0.4kg/cm<2>. That is, the opening degrees of the automatic control valves 12, 13 are respectively held to proper ones automatically and the pressure at the automatic control valve 13 is lowered from about 3.5atm-2.5atm and the lowering of pressure of about 0.2atm is also generated even in the artificial organ 2 and the opening degree of the automatic control valve 12 is held so as to hold pressure to about 2.2atm on this side of the automatic control valve 12 to keep a stable state. The time required in raising the temp. of the autoclave 1 is preliminarily measured and, when the temp. in the artificial organ 2 reaches 121 deg.C, the rising in the temp. of the autoclave 1 is finished and said time is pref. allowed to coincide with the time when said organ 2 reaches 121 deg.C.
