Abstract
PURPOSE:To always control the fuel injection quantity to a proper value by controlling the number of times of fuel injection per cycle in an internal combustion engine according to the load of the internal combustion engine and the concentration of alcohol in the mixed fuel, in the internal combustion engine which uses a mixed fuel of gasoline and alcohol. CONSTITUTION:An internal combustion engine M1 uses the mixed fuel of gasoline and alcohol. In this case, the load of the internal combustion engine M1 is detected by a means M2, and a means M3 comparison judges if the detected load is less than a prescribed value or not. A means M4 detects the concentration of the alcohol in the mixed fuel, and a means M5 comparison judges if the detected concentration of alcohol is less than a standard value or not. Then, the number of times of fuel injection per cycle in the internal combustion engine M1 is detected by a means M6 on the basis of the concentration of alcohol and the load of the internal combustion engine M1. Further, a means M7 jets fuel into the internal combustion engine M1 according to the set number of times of fuel injection.
