Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a superconducting substance having short tail dragging phenomena by blending given raw material powder, calcining, grinding the prepared calcined material, blending, molding and sintering, carrying the blending in a set state and allowing the calcined material and/or the ground material thereof to stand under a specific humidity. CONSTITUTION:Given amount of fixed raw material powder (e.g. Y2O, BaCO3 and CuO) (e.g. weight ratio of 1:3.5:2.1) blended in the presence of a liquid (e.g. ethanol) except water in a liquid state, dried, press molded and calcined in the atmosphere (e.g. 900 deg.CX24hr). Then the prepared calcined material and/or the ground material thereof obtained by grinding and blending the calcined material in the liquid (e.g. ethanol) except water is stored (e.g. one month) in an atmosphere at <=20% relative humidity and the ground material is press molded under reduced pressure and sintered (e.g. 950 deg.CX24hr) to give a superconductor.
