Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to realize uniform kneading in a short time by a method wherein the direction of revolution of an agitating blade for kneading dry mixture and water is at least once reversed. CONSTITUTION:Hydraulic raw material and short fiber bundles are dry-blended (dry-mixed) in a general purpose mixer, which is normally used for mixing hydraulic raw material, for a very short time. After that, the dry-mixed raw material is kneaded under the state being added with water and, at the same time, during kneading, the direction of revolution of an agitating blade is at least once reversed. By the method as mentioned above, hydraulic composite material with excellent physical properties can be manufactured. As for the time of reversion of the direction of revolution, the direction of revolution is reversed in 5 seconds to 2 minutes after the charging of water following dry-blending. The duration of the reversion of the direction of revolution is the period for the major part or all of lump-like material adhered to agitating elements to be eliminated from the elements, it is normally selected to be from 5 seconds to 3 minutes.
