Abstract

PURPOSE: To output a trivalent level scanning voltage with an economical architecture by constituting an output part so as to correspond to an odd number line and an even number line respectively. CONSTITUTION: This circuit is provided with the output part 3 corresponding to the odd number line G2i-1 of the scan bus line Gi (i=1, 2, 3,...) of a matrix type display and an output part 4 corresponding to an even number line G2i. Then respectively inputted, at least, a trivalent level voltage e.g. voltages V1 , V2 , 0 are selectively switched and outputted from the output part 3 and 4. By this way, at least, the trivalent scanning voltage is outputted with the output part 3 and 4 of about the same circuit scale as a bivalent level driving constitution.
