Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten the time for measuring concn. and to enable continuous measurement by mixing an inert gas with a sampled sample, accelerating the mixture and passing the same through a heat exchanger mixing with a reagent, then bringing the mixture into reaction and the detecting the temp. difference before and after the reaction. CONSTITUTION:The sample which is sampled at a specified flow rate from a metering pump 1 for sample is mixed with the inert gas sent at a specified flow rate from a pump 2 for inert gas and the flow thereof is accelerated. After the sample temp. is stabilized by the heat exchanger 5, the sample is mixed with the reagent sent at a specified flow rate from a pump 3 for reagent through the exchanger 5. The mixture is passed through a reaction tube and is then discharged to the outside of the device. The temps. of the sample before and after the reaction with the reagent are detected by temp. sensors 6, 8 and the temp. difference is converted by a converter 9 to an electric signal. The concn. proportional thereto is sent to an indicator or automatic controller. The time for measuring the concn. is thereby shortened and the continuous measurement is enabled as well. The fast process control for the reaction is thus executed.
