Abstract

PURPOSE: To continuously treat a textile material such as cotton or blend of cotton and polyester in combination of scouring and bleaching treatments by subjecting the textile material to scouring and steaming treatment in a first step, sufficiently washing the textile material, immersing the material into a breaching solution and carrying out steaming treatment in the same steamer again. CONSTITUTION: A textile material comprising cotton or blend of cotton with polyester is introduced from a gate 2 of a housing 1 and first step of scouring and steaming treatment is carried out in a retention apparatus 6 comprising plural guide roller groups and the material is sent out from a gate 3 and sufficiently washed. Then, the material is passed through a breaching solution immersing apparatus and charged from a gate 4 into the housing 1 again and steaming treatment of the material is carried out in a retention apparatus 7 and discharged from a gate 5 out of the system to continuously carry out both steps of scouring and breaching by one steamer unit.
