Abstract
PURPOSE:To readily obtain the titled yarn having high strength and function, by extruding a high polymer hollow yarn highly filled with ceramics from the central part of a double annular nozzle and simultaneously extruding a homogeneous high polymer dope solution highly filled with ceramics from the outside. CONSTITUTION:A high polymer hollow yarn 3 highly filled with ceramic spun by a dry jet-wet spinning method is initially used as a hollow core material and a high polymer dope solution 4 with a high content of ceramics blended therein is extruded from the outside of a double annular nozzle 1 simultaneously with the above-mentioned core material. The resultant yarn is directly dipped in a gelation bath 5, gelatinized and fired to afford the aimed yarn. Furthermore, the afore-mentioned high polymer hollow yarn highly filled with the ceramics is obtained by, e.g. dissolving a high polymer, such as polysulfone, in an organic solvent, such as DMF, highly blending ceramic powder, such as Al2O3, with the above-mentioned solution, extruding the obtained dope solution from the outside of the double annular nozzle simultaneously with extrusion of water which is a core liquid from the central par and leading the resultant yarn into the gelation bath.
