Abstract
PURPOSE:To uniformalize a distribution of temperature and to make a heating temperature adjustable freely by using specific metal oxides and synthetic resin as main ingredients so as to prepare heat-generating paste. CONSTITUTION:Metal oxides, e.g., V2O3, CrO2, ReO3, which are positive in their temperature coefficients of resistance and 5X10<3>muOMEGAcm or less in their specific resistance at a normal temperature and stable against heat, and synthetic resin e.g., Si resin, urethane resin, epoxy resin, are used as main ingredients so as to prepare conductive heat-generating paste. Since the conductive heat-generating paste obtained in this way has a self-temperature controlling function, a heater with a uniform distribution of temperature can be manufactured over a large to small heat-generating plane even if a coating film is dissimilar and uneven in its thickness. Further, temperature of this paste can be freely adjusted to be desired one in the range of about 350 deg.C to the maximum. Heaters of various shapes can be easily manufactured.
