Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent machine vibrations from being transmitted to a sensor shaft side by molding a throttle valve shaft and a sensor shaft as difference bodies and engaging them with each other through their levers. CONSTITUTION:When the throttle valve shaft 4 is rotated in the throttle valve opening direction associatively with an accelerator, the sensor shaft 12 receives the turning force of the throttle valve shaft 4 through the levers 16 provided to ends of the throttle valve shaft 4 and sensor shaft 12 to rotate following up them. Further, when the throttle valve shaft 4 rotates in the throttle valve opening direction, the sensor lever 16 and sensor shaft 12 rotate with the elastic force of a return spring 19 while following up the motion of the level 16. Then a magneto-resistance element 22a detects the magnetic pattern of a magnetic drum 17 varying according to the turning state and a magnetic processing circuit 22 outputs the angle of rotation of the throttle valve shaft 4, i.e. the opening extent of the throttle valve 5 according to the detection signal.
