Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain high coercive force by forming a metallic layer having two-layered structures; a lower layer essentially consisting of nickel and upper layer essentially consisting of cobalt on the particle surface of oxide magnetic powder. CONSTITUTION:The metallic layer having the two-layered structures is formed on the particle surface of the oxide magnetic powder by forming the specific metallic layer as the lower layer in the case of providing the magnetic metallic layer essentially consisting of the cobalt on said surface. The deposition of the metallic layer which is the upper layer and consists essentially of the cobalt is, therefore, increased. The higher saturation magnetization is thereby obtd. and the high coercive force is obtd. coupled with the effect of increasing the coercive force with an increase in the deposition and improving the coercive force of the lower metallic layer itself.
