Abstract

PURPOSE: To make oxide molecules connectible together solidly in the atmosphere by closely adhering first and second oxide superconductors to each other and heating them in a high-temperature furnace and next making a current flow across both oxide superconductors.
CONSTITUTION: Initially, first and second oxide superconductors 10, 11 are closely adhered to each other, with powder 12 in between. Next the oxide superconductors 10, 11 are put in a high-temperature furnace 13, and they are heated inside the furnace 13 up to a sintering temperature of the oxide superconductor or nearly up to a phase-transition temperature. Subsequently a constant current is made to flow across the oxide superconductors 10 and 11 from a normal temperature part. The connection part of the oxide superconductors 10 and 11 is thus heated by Joule heat due to heat and current from the high- temperature furnace 13, so that oxide molecules are diffused and made connectible together solidly.
