Abstract

PURPOSE: To make oxide superconductors connectible together solidly in the atmosphere by closely adhering the oxide superconductors to each other and heating them in a high-temperature furnace and next sintering them.
CONSTITUTION: Initially, first and second oxide superconductors 10, 11 are closely adhered to each other, with powder 12 in between. Next the oxide superconductors 10, 11 are put in a high-temperature furnace 13, and they are heated and sintered. Molecules of these oxides are diffused together at the connection part of both the oxide superconductors 10 and 11 at that time, so that both the oxide superconductors 10 and 11 are connected solidly to each other. Then the connection plane of both the oxide superconductors 10 and 11 is shaped to be inclined or recessed/projected.
