Abstract

PURPOSE:To use a differential pressure signal for electronic application of a controller with accurate measurement of a differential pressure, by making two pressures of a differential manometer act simultaneously on a pressure receiving section as opposed to a piston to extract a displacement of the piston as electrical signal. CONSTITUTION:Body 1 of a differential manometer is made up of two pressure oil ports 2 and 3 to which a differential pressure is introduced and a discharge port 4 connected to a tank. Pressure oil paths 5a and 5b to be inserted through the ports 2 and 3 of a cylinder 5 mounted on the body 1 are formed and a piston 8 having opposed pressure receiving sections 6 and 7 equal in the area within the cylinder 5 is housed movably to be sealed. This piston is energized with springs (energizing means) 15 and 16 facing the displacement thereof. Then, the displacement of the piston 8 is sensed with a displacement sensor 17 and an electrical signal proportional to the displacement thereof is outputted from a sensor 17 to be outputted externally from leads 19a and 19b.
