Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance toughness of a photosensitive body by forming an electric charge transfer layer of a tough polymer made from a charge transfer material, a condensable monomer, and a resin for a photographic sensitive body through condensation of said monomer. CONSTITUTION:The organic electrophotographic sensitive body is formed by mixing a prescribed proportion of the charge transfer material, the condensable monomer, the resin, and a solvent to prepare a coating solution, coating a charge generating layer 2 formed on a conductive substrate 3 with said coating solution in a prescribed film thickness, drying and hardening said applied coating solution for a prescribed time at a prescribed temperature, and forming the charge transfer layer 1 of a tough polymer by condensation of said monomer, thus permitting the obtained photosensitive body to be enhanced in toughness and reduced in image quality due to ground soiling, etc.
