PURPOSE:To avoid the production of black smoke in the beginning of acceleration by simulatingly controlling the fuel injection loss correction to the operation response delay by operation of an EGR valve based on the control command value of the exhaust gas recirculation flow rate directly before stopping. CONSTITUTION:An engine control device 10 determines the control command value of fundamental fuel injection quantity and an exhaust gas recirculation flow rate based on the signals of an engine speed sensor 14 and acceleration opening sensor 12 to control a fuel injection control device 16 and EGR flow rate control device 18.
