Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve motion reliability and seal reliability, by a method wherein the collection areas on the press chamber sides of right and left diaphragms are set to a value higher than that on the valve hole side of a valve part. CONSTITUTION:The collection areas on the pressure chambers 37 and 38 sides of diaphragms 31 and 32 are set to a value enoughly higher than an area in which a pressure is collected by valve parts 33 and 34 on the valve hole 14 side when annular projections 33a and 34a are seated on valve seats 14b and 14c. This constitution brings a valve stem 25 into a non-contact state with the valve hole 14, resulting in improvement of motion reliability. Further, since, when the valve hole 14 is closed by the valve parts 33 and 34 of the diaphragms 31 and 32, compressed air from selection ports 17 and 18 enters the press chambers 37 and 38 to press the diaphragms 31 and 32 from the outside, ability of sealing the valve hole 14 by means of the valve parts 33 and 34 of the diaphragms 31 and 32 is improved.
