Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve working accuracy and execute miniaturization by forming a fine stripe electrode to excite a static magnetic wave on a YIG film surface and constituting a YIG film edge to reflect the static magnetic wave on a GGG substrate. CONSTITUTION:A YIG film 2 is liquid phase-grown on a GGG substrate 1 and a fine stripe electrode 3 of an Al electrode thin film is formed with a photographic etching method. The stripe electrode 3 is enough slimmer than a period P and the plural numbers of both edges are parallely connected. Then, the electrode 3 is operated as two terminals-device. The YIG film 2 is both edges parallel to the electrode 3 and a part to be far from the length of edges L1 and L2 is removed by a chemical etching. When a bias magnetic field H0 is impressed in a vertical direction to the film 2, a static magnetic body accumulating advancing wave is propagated to right and left in the film 2 and reflected at right and left edges. Then, a width L of the film 2 is resonated with the integer-fold frequency of 1/2 wavelength of the static magnetic wave. When magnetic field intensity is changed, a resonating frequency is changed. Accordingly, the L1 and L2 are obtained as the integer-fold of the 1/2 of the P.
