Abstract

PURPOSE:To measure and record the flow rate of grout by a low-cost system in a superhigh pressure jet work by a method in which a pressure gauge provided in the pressure sending path is used as a flow meter under an injection condition that injection pressure is linearly proportional to injection flow rate. CONSTITUTION:In injecting a grout under a high pressure of 100kg/cm<2>G from a small-size nozzle into the ground, a pressure gauge 14 is provided in a pressure sending path 13 for grout under such an injection condition that injection pressures are linearly proportional to injection flow rates. Output signals from the gauge 14 are recorded on a recording paper 15 with the graduations of flow rates in the direction of crossing the paper sending direction. Not only flow rates but also pressures can thus be measured and recorded with sufficiently high accuracy by low-cost meters.
