Abstract

PURPOSE: To keep the insulation performance through the accurate measurement of the density of insulation gas, by detecting the differential pressure between the measured insulation gas in the insulation unit tank and the reference gas and converting the output of the differential detector into density display.
CONSTITUTION: The differential pressure detector 12 connected to the measured gas insulation unit 11 detects the differential pressure between the reference gas pressure and measured gas pressure in the reference gas chamger 29. The movement of the section plate 20 due to the differential pressure is converted into the output of the differential transformer 30, and this output signal is made to analog display or digital display of density. Since the displacement of the core 37 of the differential transformer is a function of the measured gas density change, the output of the differential transformer is amplified with the amplifier 44 and this amplifier output signal can be made to density indication with the density indicator of analog or digital.
