Abstract
PURPOSE:To aim at reduction of operating force, in a device providing a rest valve and a movable valve having plural valve inlets so as to increase or decrease a passage area by rotating the movable valve in the circumferential direction, by inclining a sliding surface of both valves at a specified angle in the vertical direction of a shaft of a turbine. CONSTITUTION:A grid valve is provided with a rest valve 4 fixed by a volt 5 at an inlet member of a nozzle 3 formed in an annular gap between a nozzle inner ring 1 and a nozzle outer ring 2 of a turbine. A movable valve 7 is provided on the primary side of the rest valve 4. An inner periphery rim of the movable valve 7 is fitted around a holding groove 8 formed in the radial direction of the inner periphery rim of the rest valve 4 so as to be able to rotate in the circumferential direction while being brought in contact with the rest valve 4 on a sliding surface 9 thereof by operating of a connecting unit 11. In this occasion, the sliding surface 9 is formed so as to be inclined at a specified angle theta within less than 90 degree in the vertical direction of a turbine shaft 12. Thereby, a push pressure transmitted to the sliding surface 9 is made small so as to reduce the operating force of a movable valve 7a.
