Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate operation by a constitution wherein a tread stage is provided on cross rods connecting the midpoints of equilateral push-out links disposed in bilateral symmetry, while the links are connected at one end to a support base and support poles are laid between the lower part of the base and both of the links. CONSTITUTION: Equilateral push-out links 1 formed by connecting a plurality of equilateral links each made of a pipe material and having a rectangular section are disposed in bilateral symmetry. The inside rods of the individual equilateral links being opposite to each other are connected at midpoints by horizontal cross rods 2 of a square pipe material and a tread board 3 is fixed on the tops of the rods 2. Moreover, the links 1 are connected at one end respectively to the upper part of a support base 5 fixed by support rods 4, so that they can be declined and elevated. The links 1 are connected in this way by using extensible-contractible cylindrical support poles 6 having a force of counter-compressive elasticity between the lower parts of the support rods 4 and a cross rod 2' and thereby an extensible-contractible catwalk is constituted. According to this constitution, the bridge is made the catwalk by extending it when it is needed, while it is made foldable when it is not needed.
