Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a heat-resistant gypsum board having a superior heat resistance and fire resistance by adhering an inorganic fiber sheet-like substance of a predetermined melting temperature or higher on at least one surface of the upper and lower surfaces of a gypsum board. CONSTITUTION: An inorganic fiber sheet-like substance 2 of a predetermined thickness and having a melting temperature of 1000 deg.C or higher is adhered on at least one surface of the upper and lower surfaces of a gypsum board 1 so as to form a heat-resistant gypsum board 10. The inorganic fiber sheet-like substance 2 contains a ceramic fiber of 50 wt.% or more and has a thickness of 1 mm or more. As such, a melting temperature of the gypsum board 1 can be raised, and also flames can be interrupted by the inorganic fiber sheet substance 2 even in the case where cracks are generated in the gypsum board 1 by high heat.
