Abstract
PURPOSE:To produce a non-heat treatment type Al alloy capable of thin wall- thickness extrusion and having excellent strength by incorporating specific ratios of Mg, Mn, Zr, Cr, Zn and Ti to Al. CONSTITUTION:The Al alloy contg., by weight, 1.0-3.0% Mg, 0.2-0.8% Mn and 0.05-0.25% Zr, contg. one or more kinds selected among 0.05-0.25% Cr, 0.3-1.0% Zn and 0.005-0.1% Ti and consisting of the balance Al with inevitable impurities is prepd. In this way, the extruding characteristics and strength are made excellent, by which the titled Al alloy usable as the structural material of vehicles and vessels and as the reinforcing material for the interior or exterior of architecture to which A 5052 could not be applied because of the insufficiency of strength, capable of thinning and furthermore capable of extruding into the complicated shape impossible in the use of A 5083 is obtd.
