Abstract
PURPOSE:To enhance the producing efficiency of electrode column seal by irradiating ultraviolet rays only to the ultraviolet hardening epoxy resin of the portion where polyolefin resin is in contact with electrode column, hardening it, and removing unhardened ultraviolet hardening epoxy resin in the other portions. CONSTITUTION:The whole surface of an electrode column 1 made of lead or lead alloy is coated with ultraviolet hardening epoxy resin, and ultraviolet rays are irradiated to only unhardened ultraviolet hardening epoxy resin 2 in the portion where polyolefin resin 3 contacts the electrode column when polyolefin resin is injection molded later so as to harden the resin in the portion, and the unhardened ultraviolet hardening epoxy resin 2 in the other portions is removed, followed by injection molding of polyolefin resin. Thus seal for electrode column is accomplished.
