CONSTITUTION:The whole surface of an electrode column 1 made of lead or lead alloy is coated with ultraviolet hardening epoxy resin, and ultraviolet rays are irradiated to only unhardened ultraviolet hardening epoxy resin 2 in the portion where polyolefin resin 3 contacts the electrode column when polyolefin resin is injection molded later so as to harden the resin in the portion, and the unhardened ultraviolet hardening epoxy resin 2 in the other portions is removed, followed by injection molding of polyolefin resin. Thus seal for electrode column is accomplished.
