Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance adhesion strength of hard coating resin in case of performing a scratch resistant coating on the surface of molded body by allowing an ultraviolet curable hard coating agent applied on a molded resin body to be irradiated with ultraviolet rays while using a low-pressure mercury lamp and curing it. CONSTITUTION:A molded resin body is applied with an ultraviolet curable hard coating agent such as a cross-linking resin material having two or more acryloyl groups or methacryloyl groups in one molecule. Then, a hard coated molding is produced by irradiating ultraviolet rays while using a low-pressure mercury lamp and curing the ultraviolet hard coating agent. As the resin constituting the molded resin body, polymethyl methacrylate, polycarbonate, ABS resin and polyester resin, etc., are used. As the low-pressure mercury lamp, one wherein mercury pressure enclosed is 0.001-0.1mmHg and maximum energy exists in the vicinity of 2,540Angstrom and 1,840Angstrom wavelength region is used.
