Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve watertightness, ease of work and strength by using a watertight compound made of 100 weight parts of composition with main ingredient of polyvinyl-chloride-ethylene vinyl chloride copolymer or ethylene vinyl acetate-vinyl chloride copolymer and 10W200 weight parts of polyester-based adhesive.
CONSTITUTION: For the reason of good adhesiveness to PVC insulation material, polyvinyl chloride(PVC), ethylene-vinyl chloride copolymer(E-VC), or ethylene vinyl acetate-vinyl chloride copolymer(EVA-PVC), is used as a main ingredient. A watertight compound is formed by adding 10W200pts.wt. of polyester-based adhesive to 100pts.wt. of the main ingredient. If the added amount is less than 10pts.wt., watertightness is not enough while above 200pts.wt. adhesiveness is too strong and ease of drawing out is impaired. With this composition, excellent watertightness, ease of work and strength at the time of aerial wiring are obtained.
