Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the work efficiency, and also, to prevent the titled cable from being damaged by an aluminum pipe in an overhead ground wire, by winding a polyamide fiber to a connected part, solidifying it with an adhesive agent, and wrapping it with a thermal contraction tube. CONSTITUTION:In end parts of FRP covered optical fiber cables 1, 3 slits 9, 11 of prescribed length are formed, respectively, and each end part is engaged to each other through each slit 9, 11. Subsequently, a polyamide fiber 13 is wound sparsely to the connected part of each optical fiber cable 1, 3 and its vicinity, and an adhesive agent is injected into this part and solidified. Next, said part is wrapped with a thermal contraction tube in which lubricating oil is impregnated and a through-hole is formed so that the lubricating oil can flow out, and also, the wrapped thermal contraction tube is heated and contracted. In such a way, the work efficiency is improved and it does not occur that the titled cable is damaged by an aluminum pipe in an overhead ground wire.
