Abstract

PURPOSE:To receive packaged article in a hanging condition without dropping, in bag packaging machine, and tie the bag opening as it is by squeezing, by making a subsidiary shaft, on whose upper end a cam plate is fixed, and a main shaft rotate intermittently as one unit; making the subsidiary shaft return to its original position with a reverse rotation while the main shaft stays still; moving a movable claw by this return function of the subsidiary shaft, and thus clamping the packaged article. CONSTITUTION:By a grooved cam 48, at the same time when a main shaft 26 starts rotating by 120 deg., a subsidiary shaft 37 rotates up to 20 deg. and stops; and at the same time when the main shaft 26 stops, the subsidiary shaft 37 rotates reversely by 20 deg. and returns to its original position. Since a cam plate 38 rotates reversely by 20 deg., a roller 39 falls in the minimum turning radius of the cam plate 38, and a movable claw 35 clamps a packaged article 100'. Immediately after, clamp arms 12, 12 place the packaged article 100' in such a manner to coincide with the timing of the packaged article 10 release, the packaged article 100' is individually supported by an arm 21 and carried by the rotation of a disc 20.
