Abstract
PURPOSE:To joint the resin of composite material or the like strongly, by a method wherein a first impregnated body of a mat type inorganic fibrous body, impregnated with thermosetting resin, is formed while being heated and pressed and a coating layer of second thermosetting resin is formed on a predetermined surface while a second impregnated body is formed on the coating layer of the formed body so as to be brought into contact with it. CONSTITUTION:Inorganic fibrous cotton body 11 of glass wool or the like is dipped into the silicon rubber solution 13L of thermosetting elastic body to produce a first impregnated body 14. The impregnated body 14 is formed by a mold while being heated and pressed to manufacture a formed body 17. The thermosetting resin of unsaturated polyester or the like is coated on the predetermined surface of the formed body 17 to form a coating layer 19a. Polyester 19L is coated on the upper surface of the impregnated body 22, produced by dipping mat type cotton body 20 into the solution 19L of unsaturated polyester resin, to form the coating layer 19b. The second impregnated body 22 is superposed on the coating layer 19a of the formed body 17 and they are molded by a mold while being heated and pressed. The impregnated body 22 is bound strongly to the formed body 17 by polyester, leached out of the coating layer 19b, and the polyester, contained in the coating layer 19a.
