Inorganic fiberboards such as glass fibers are porous, so when you try to paint them, a large amount of paint tends to seep into them, which has the disadvantage of requiring a large amount of paint and also causing uneven coating. Furthermore, there was a drawback that cracks were likely to occur after the paint dried.

Furthermore, when attaching a surface material, since the inorganic fiberboard is porous, a large amount of adhesive seeps into the interior like paint, so a large amount of adhesive is required.

In addition, interior materials made of inorganic fibers have the drawback of insufficient strength and are easily damaged by use. Strength can be improved by attaching a thick surface material such as cloth, but if a thick surface material is used, in the case of an interior material with a curved surface shape, it will not conform well to the curved surface.

In view of the above-mentioned problems, the present invention has developed an interior material made of inorganic fiber that can be applied evenly and at the same time provides sufficient strength, and that adapts well to curved surfaces even when the surface has a curved shape. The purpose is to provide.

The structure of the present invention will be explained in detail based on the embodiment shown in the drawings.
A thermoplastic resin film 2 such as polyethylene is placed on a nonwoven fabric 1 of about 2 m2, and an uncured inorganic fiber mat 3 (see Fig. 1) is placed on top of it.
The mat 3 is molded and hardened by heating and pressurizing, and at the same time the polyethylene film 2 is melted and hardened, and the mat 3' and the nonwoven fabric 1 are adhered (see FIG. 2) to form the interior board 4. Then, a synthetic resin paint is applied to the nonwoven fabric 1 of the interior panel 4 to form a paint layer 5.

In the interior material of the present invention, the nonwoven fabric 1 and the mat 3' are bonded together by melting the thermoplastic resin film 2. Although the film 2 is melted by heating, the entire surface is not melted, and there are parts that are not melted, and only the melted parts penetrate into the nonwoven fabric 1 and the mat, and the two are bonded together by the anchoring effect.

Therefore, when spraying paint from above the non-woven fabric 1 to form the paint layer 5, the film 2 and the non-woven fabric 1 prevent the paint from entering the mat 3', and a small amount of paint is enough to form the paint layer 5. A surface layer can be formed. Furthermore, since the paint does not enter the mat 3', a beautiful finish can be achieved without uneven coating. Furthermore, the synthetic resin paint soaks into the nonwoven fabric, forming a sufficiently strong resin film reinforced with the fibers of the nonwoven fabric.

Therefore, in the interior material of the present invention, even when a thin nonwoven fabric is used, a sufficiently strong surface layer is formed, and the amount of paint used is small, making it possible to obtain an interior material with a low weight per unit area. Furthermore, since the nonwoven fabric is made of organic fiber and is easily stretchable, it has good conformability even when formed into a complex curved surface. Furthermore, since the synthetic resin paint penetrates into the nonwoven fabric and has a sufficiently high surface strength, no cracks will occur in the paint layer 5 even when the product is pressed.

Further, since the fused portions of the film 2 form holes, the sound absorption effect does not deteriorate.
