Abstract
PURPOSE:To attain miniaturization and to suppress the increase in the oscillation current and the rise in the oscillation start voltage by constituting an arm being a major component of a couple of vibrations by the connection of flat rod whose length ratio is decided in a specific range and having two kinds of different widths. CONSTITUTION:The segmentation azimuth of a crystal wafer is formed by turning a major plane including the Y axis orthogonal to both the Z and X axes around the X axis by + or -10 deg. or around the Y axis by + or -10 deg..
