CONSTITUTION:An optical axis a1 of a laser diode active layer 11 is shifted from an optical axis a2 of an optical waveguide 16 by an angle phi, and an end face 17 of the optical waveguide 16 is polished optically and obliquely by an angle theta against the vertical surface of the optical axis a2 of the optical waveguide.
