Abstract
PURPOSE:To aim at increase in the lifetime of a center by forming a heat resistant and abrasion resistant powder by means of application of the hot hydrostatic pressure, and then bonding it to the supporting part at the pointed end of a center body having a high tenacity. CONSTITUTION:The pointed end 4 of a center body 2 formed with a material having a high tenacity is shaped into a conical form, and covered with a capsule 1 provided with an opening 3. And then, the peripheral edge of the base of the capsule 1 is welded to the body 2. Subsequently, a metal powder 7 of a material superior to the body 2 in the heat resistance and the abrasion resistance is filled through the opening 3 into the body 2. And then, to the opening 3 is attached a capping substance 8, and the gas in the capsule 1 is degassed through a degassing pipe of the capping substance 8 before it is sealed. And further, by a hot hydrostatic pressure application treatment, the powder 7 is sintered, and at the same time bonded to the pointed end 4.
