PURPOSE:To stably control the growth rate of a crystal as well as to improve the operation efficiency in salt crystallization by pulsatingly controlling the mother liquor level in an evaporator by the intermittent supply of brine. CONSTITUTION:In the controller 20 for controlling the intermittent supply of brine W, the measured value PVL of a level sensor 18 is inputted, and an intermittent and make-and-break operating output MVL is supplied to a brine flow control valve 15. When the mother liquor level in the evaporator 5 reaches the lower-limit set value, the supply of the brine W is started. Intermittent supply of the brine W is repeated a prescribed number of times and stopped when the level in the evaporator 5 reaches the upper-limit set value. As a result, the crystal growth rate is stably controlled, and the operation efficiency in salt crystallization can be improved.
