Abstract

PURPOSE:To efficiently use a telephone set as an alarm equipment, a schedule controller, etc., by ringing the bell of the telephone set and making it possible to hear a message from a sound generation means through the handset of the telephone set when it is time when a time setting means has set. CONSTITUTION:An adapter 7 is provided between telephone line connecting terminals 6a and 6b and interior telephone sets 4a, 4b and 4c. Objective time can optionally be set with a keyboard 2 for setting time. A microcomputer 1 transmits bell signals to the telephone sets 4a, 4b, and 4c from an extension bell signal generation circuit 15 through a station change-over switch 8 and rings the bell of the telephone sets 4a, 4b and 4c. When the handsets 5a, 5b and 5c of the telephone sets 4a, 4b and 4c are lifted up, an extension loop is generated, which an extension loop current detection circuit 16 detects. With the detection signals, the microcomputer 1 instructs a sound generation device 3 to transmit the selected message to the handsets 5a, 5b and 5c with the set time through a transformer 17 and the telephone extension.
