Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the positional adjusting process for a recording and reproducing head and other member by constituting it in such a manner that the position of a holding member for holding a center of a discoid recording barrier is adjustable in an approximately vertical direction to a recording surface of the barrier being so held. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic sheet 1 is freely rotatively housed in its protection case 2, whereas the center of the sheet 1 is fixed with an attraction plate 5 constitutive of a soft magnetic substance. The attraction plate 5 is integrally constituted of a center core 6 having a hole 6a for positioning the sheet 1 in its center position. The sheet 1 is mountably held on a spindle motor via the attraction plate 5 and the core 6. The spindle motor is totally supported by a chassis 10, the center of which is force-fedly fixed with a shaft 11 having a screwed part 11a on its tip part. The shaft 11 is fitted with ball bearings 21 and 22, where the ball bearing 21 is provided movably in the axial direction of the shaft 11 as in such directions of arrows A and B as orthogonal to the recording surface of the sheet 1. The tip of the shaft 11 is fitted with a cap 12, whereas the positional adjustment can be simplified by rotating the cap 12.
