Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the vibrations within the chuck mechanism at the rotating of an information recording sheet by providing the degree of freedom in the transverse direction to the rotating portion of the chuck mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A support shaft 9 which supports the sheet retainer 10 and rotating part 13 of a chuck mechanism 5 is so disposed as to suspend by penetrating through the large-diameter opening of a housing 8 of hollow cylindrical form coupled to a mounting frame 6 by means of a spring 7 and the rotating part 13 is made movable in the transverse direction. Then, when the mounting frame 6 is lowered, the chuck mechanism 5 lowers and the support shaft 9 penetrates through the central part 4 of the magnetic sheet 3 and fits to the rotating flange 2, by which the magnetic sheet 3 is mounted onto the rotating flange 2. At the same time, the rotating part 13 suitable moves transversely to align the sheet to the center of the rotating flange 2, after which the upper part of a rotating bearing part 12 and the housing 8 contact, thereby fixing the rotating part 13.
