Abstract

The small motor, for a vehicle, has a magnetic flux return ring (18) with a shoulder (40) and a projection (38). The holder (24) for that shaft's bearing is located between the shoulder and the projection and is held in place by a snap-action arrangement (32, 40). The holder is held under stress between the projection and the shoulder and rests against a retaining component (42) that also acts as the support plate for the brushes.
