Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the magnifying power of the displacement of a piezoelectric body and to reduce the dimensional shape of said piezoelectric body, by connecting three movable bodies connected to a base body at one ends thereof in a cascade state. CONSTITUTION:When predetermined voltage is applied to a piezoelectric body 2, the piezoelectric body 2 is displaced in the direction shown by an arrow A. This displacement is magnified in the direction shown by an arrow B by the first movable body 5 connected to a base body 2 at one end thereof and, further, the displacement of the first movable body 5 is magnified in the direction shown by an arrow C by the second movable body 8 connected to the base body 2 at one end thereof. This displacement of this second movable body 8 is magnified in the direction shown by an arrow D by the third movable body 11 connected to the base body 2 at one end thereof and printing is performed by the printing wire 13 provided to the end part of the third movable body 11. As mentioned above, even the small piezoelectric body 2 can be made large in its magnifying power by three movable bodies 5, 8, 13. Further, the irregularity of the initial position of the printing wire 13 caused by the irregularity of the dimensional shape of the piezoelectric body 2 is reduced by adjusting the mount position of the third movable body 11 to the base body 2.
